Stanley Hall, Cheadle Hulme

Buildings scheduled as of historic or architectural interest

THIS delightful black and white building has stood at Cheadle Hulme since 1662. Over the centuries many of the district's well known families have occupied it. Today it is a farmhouse standing just off the busy Stanley Road.

A feature of the house, one which adds to its attractiveness is the small windows which have existed since its erection. There is still a large quantity of the original timber construction in very good state of preservation and the stone slated roof has altered little since its early days.
